Departmental leadership team

The department management is dedicated to the two business areas “Research, Transfer and Fundamental Affairs” and “Studies and Teaching”, which are closely linked to each other through cross-cutting issues. The deans, who are elected for two years, and the two managing directors of the department represent the areas and develop them strategically.

Research, Transfer and Policy Division

The Dean's Office – administrator and service provider – takes care of concerns in the areas of research, transfer and fundamental matters. The Dean's Office handles central administrative tasks for the department. As a service provider, it supports the department's internal and external partners in order to ensure and further develop the high quality of teaching and research.

The MechCenter – Your Student Office – takes care of your concerns in the area of studying and teaching! We are happy to help students, prospective students, academic staff and lecturers and, of course, other contact persons inside and outside the Technische Universität Darmstadt with any questions they may have.
