Literature Research for the topic “Generative AI for engineering and vibroacoustic design”

2025/01/31 by

Generative AI has found its way into our lives in a very short space of time. Large-Language Models (LLM) play a dominant role and can be used, for example, to generate and correct code. The effects are already being felt in software engineering. In view of the fact that many programs used in engineering offer advanced programming interfaces (API) (e.g. PyAnsys, Livelink for Comsol), the question arises as to whether the progress achieved by LLM can also be applied here. “Hey Comsol, design an oil pan that is lightweight and radiates almost no sound” – this or a similar scenario could be how the engineering profession could develop in the future. We are therefore looking for a motivated student trainee who is genuinely interested in the topic and wants to carry out literature research. If interested, a subsequent job as a student assistant / master's student etc. in the field of implementing LLM in context is conceivable.
