Entwicklung eines hochintegrierten Multikamerasystems und einer Datenfusionsstrategie

Development of a highly integrated multi-camera system and a data fusion strategy

Advanced Research Project (ARP), Masterthesis, Research Assistant, Bachelorthesis, Advanced Design Project (ADP)

Integrated process monitoring is the basic prerequisite for reliable process control in forming technology. The accessibility of the processes is crucial for the information content of the sensor data. Optical sensor technology offers the advantages of contactless, spatially resolved recording of process variables directly on the tool or workpiece. The core objective of the task at hand is therefore the design of a tool-integrated multi-camera system for the analysis of process parameters during shear cutting.

The following work packages are planned for this purpose:

  • Exploration of existing approaches for correlation and fusion of optical data
  • Setup of a multi-camera system using the example of stamping
  • Interpretation and analysis of the results of an in-situ wear measurement on a die
  • Scientific documentation of the results
