We are happy to announce that Prof. Matthias Weigold , Head of the Institut für Produktionsmanagement, Technologie und Werkzeugmaschinen – PTW will present at the WPK 2024, organised by IFT – Institut für Fertigungstechnik und Photonische Technologien (wird in neuem Tab geöffnet).

In his presentation, he will focus on the EuProGigant Use Case tackling forecasting the CO2 footprint using data ecosystems.

Specific topics:

• How data ecosystems can drive sustainability in manufacturing
• CO2 footprint forecasting as an assisting tool for transparent decision-making
• How to overcome privacy concerns when exchanging data by using the Gaia-X framework
