We have great news! As of January 1st, the integration of the renowned Institute of Ergonomics & Human Factors (IAD) into the Institute of Automotive Engineering (FZD) will start. The research staff of the former IAD will become part of FZD as a new research group “Human Factors & Ergonomics (FZD-IAD)” under the leadership of apl. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Bettina Abendroth. We welcome our new (but well-known) colleagues and are looking forward to tackle the human-centered topics that are of utmost importance for safe Automated Driving as well as for the success of circular Software-Defined Vehicles with joint forces. In addition, the IAD is introducing new topics such as ergonomics and human-centred AI, which expand the existing research field of the FZD. Stay tuned!
