Girls’ Day at DiK

At March 28th ten girls from 11 to 15 years joint us at the Department of Computer Integrated Design (DiK) for the Girls’ Day.
After a presentation about the department and the daily life of a Ph.D. candidate, the development process from the idea to the product was represented. In the following, different demonstrators have been shown, for example a HoloLens. With the help of a HoloLens a mixed reality is created and the girls could take a look at the model of a helicopter. In the end of the day, the girls used a 3D-CAD-System for their first modeling steps. We would like to thank all girls for visiting us at DiK.
