From the A5 or A67

You can reach Darmstadt from the A5 or A67 via Darmstädter Kreuz, exit Darmstadt Stadtmitte.

Then follow the signs to TU Lichtwiese.

At the TU Lichtwiese follow Otto-Berndt-Straße until the intersection of Alarich-Weiss-Straße. The PLCM department is located on the first floor on the right behind the red cogwheel.

From the A3

Take the B45 road in the direction of Dieburg.

At Dieburg, take the B26 in the direction of Darmstadt.

At the entrance to the town (traffic lights) keep left in the direction of TU Lichtwiese.

Turn left at the first intersection into Otto-Berndt-Straße.

At the TU Lichtwiese follow Otto-Berndt-Straße, until the intersection of Alarich-Weiss-Straße. The PLCM department is located on the first floor on the right behind the red cogwheel.

Free visitor parking is available in front of the department by prior arrangement.

Paid public parking is available on the entire TU Darmstadt premises.

There is a direct bus connection (Airliner) Airport Frankfurt/Main – Darmstadt Hbf. The Airliner departs from Frankfurt/Main Airport:

Terminal 1, area B, bus stop 14.

Directly in front of Terminal 2

The journey takes about 30 minutes. The route is served more than 30 times a day.

From Frankfurt Hbf there are VIAS connections directly to the stop Darmstadt TU-Lichtwiese.

Further connections from Frankfurt Hbf to Darmstadt Hbf exist via Regionalbahn (RB) and RegionalExpress (RE) connections.

From Darmstadt Hbf, tram line 2 runs directly to the TU Lichtwiese terminus. The journey time from Darmstadt Hbf is 20 minutes.

Opposite the TU Lichtwiese/Mensa stop is the Lecture Hall and Media Center. If you pass this on the left, you will walk directly towards the mechanical engineering building. The PLCM department is located on the first floor on the right behind the red cogwheel.
