TU Day @ DiK

On May 16, 2018, interested students were able to participate in the TU Day, an information event of the TU Darmstadt. As part of the event, the participants could decide for two Departments in which they could get a taste. At the Department of Mechanical Engineering, interested parties received in a welcome lecture common information about the studies of mechanical engineering. Subsequently, two group-wise guided tours took place.

Subsequently, two group-wise guided tours took place.
The DiK also participated in the task of providing prospective students with an overview of the offered teaching and an insight into current research. After a brief theoretical introduction, the two groups of students were presented with three practical demonstrators by the responsible research assistants.

The whole DiK team is pleased about the visit and hopes to have aroused the interest of the young people for the engineering studies and the work of the Dik.
