Under the title “From Virtual Product Development to Product Lifecycle Management”, the PLCM successfully held a symposium at Heiligenberg Castle on June 12th. The approximately 80 participants listened to various presentations from the PLCM's research areas. Highlights were the presentations by Dr Kleiner (:em AG), Prof Bøhn (Virginia Tech), Dr Pfouga (ProSTEP ivip) and Dr Weber Martins. The event was rounded off with a presentation by Prof Schleich on the present and future of digital engineering and Product Lifecycle Management. Afterwards there was the opportunity for networking.
