Studentische Hilfskraft (m/w/d) zur Unterstützung im Forschungsprojekt WiToPro
2025/07/07

Geometric deviations on components are unavoidable in reality and limit the quality and function of products. In order to limit deviations to a permissible level and thus ensure the functionality of products, tolerances are assigned during product development. As part of the DFG-funded WiToPro project and in cooperation with Leibniz Universität Hannover, the PLCM is developing a knowledge-based method for assigning tolerances for CNC-milled components. We are looking for a student assistant to support this research.
Your tasks:
- Automated extraction and processing of information from a CAD system
- Revision of an existing application for automated tolerance analysis and transfer of the application from Matlab to Python
- Knowledge modeling by implementation and formalization of ontologies/knowledge graphs
Your profile:
- Basic programming skills (preferably in Python and/or Matlab)
- Structured and independent way of working
- Interest in research in new topics
If you are interested, please contact Timo Ackermann, M.Sc.
