Jan Oliver Osterod studied Mechanical and Process Engineering (MPE) at TU Darmstadt until 2023. As part of his studies, he completed a year abroad at the Beijing Institute of Technology. In his master's thesis, he developed a method and a software tool for sustainability management in additive manufacturing.

Since October 2023, Mr. Osterod has been working as a research assistant at the PLCM.
