Alexander Schlicher completed his studies in electrical engineering at Rheinland-Pfälzische Technische Universität Kaiserslautern-Landau (RPTU) in April 2023. In his diploma thesis, he developed a method to automate the reconstruction of meshed topology optimization results using parametric modeling.

Since October 2023, Mr. Schlicher has been working as a research assistant at the department Product Life Cycle Management at TU Darmstadt.

Alexander Schlicher is supervising the tutorial Advanced CAx Methods since the winter semester 2023/24. In the course, the basics of Computer Aided Design are expanded, for example, by learning how to deal with free-form surfaces.
