Timo Ackermann studied Mechanical Engineering at TU Darmstadt until May 2024, graduating with a Master of Science Degree. As part of his studies, he spent a semester abroad at Linköpings Universitet in Sweden. In his master’s thesis, he developed a method for the automated derivation of a static environmental model from high-definition maps for automated driving at the Institute of Automotive Engineering (FZD) at TU Darmstadt.

Since October 2024, Mr. Ackermann works as a research assistant at the PLCM.
