Dr.-Ing. Jens Malzacher

Jens Malzacher studied from 1999 to 2004 Mechanical Engineering with focus on design technology at Technische Universität Kaiserslautern. Starting in December 2004 he works as a research assistant at the Department of Computer Integrated Design (DiK) at the Technische Universität Darmstadt. There his focus is the integration of computation models into geometrical models. In detail concepts for enhanced DMU are developed and integrated towards PLM systems.
Within research he is DiK representative in several working groups. He was coordinator in the ProSTEP iViP project group “Collaborative Product Visualization” (CPV). Within the ProSTEP iViP project group “SimPDM” and its successor “Collaborative CAD/CAE Integration” (C3I) he takes part in the technical core team. At LOEWE-Zentrum AdRIA he is researcher for the management of virtual product development of adaptronic products.
He is attending to several lessons, like PDT/ViP C in summer term 2005, several tutorials and the cADP since 2006.
