In 1995 Joselito R. Henriques completed a four year apprenticeship as an engineering technician and following studied Industrial Engineering (Bachelor). In 2004 he graduated from the Methodist University of Piracicaba, Brasilia in Industrial Engineering with a Master's degree. During his studies he worked three years as a junior researcher on a project, supported by CNPq (BR), and another four years as a scientist at the Laboratory for Computer Application in Design and Manufacturing (SCPM), (BR).
He has experience in industry on the sectors data exchange between CAD-systems, construction, standardization, process planning and layout. Before he came to DiK, he worked for the following companies: Industrias ROMI S/A (BR), FOCKE & Co. (GmbH & Co. KG) (D), PROSTEP AG (D), ProSTEP iVip Verein (D). Since 2003 he was involved three years on the development of the ISO -Norm STEP AP214 (ISO 10303 – 214) and two years as self-employed distribution partner for TEDATA GmbH (D).
Since July 2007 he is employed as a research assistant at the department Computer Integrated Design (Datenverarbeitung in der Konstruktion (DiK)). His focus is on the 3D-documentation in PDF-Format (3D PDF) in the virtual product development. At the DiK Joselito R. Henriques coaches the tutorial CATIA v5.
