From 1998 until 2001 David Fischer completed an apprenticeship as an IT system integration specialist. His focus was on Server Based Computing, Microsoft Terminal Services and Citrix Metaframe Environment. Thereafter he worked one and a half years as an internal system administrator at his apprenticing company. Since February 2003 he is employed as a technical assistant. His area of responsibility is on the one hand the support of the hardware, also the basic software of the educational environment (Ausbildungsumgebung (IiM)), and on the other hand the support of the server environment of the DiK and its connected computer pool.
