15th SIRM – European Conference on Rotordynamics
We are looking forward to welcome You in 2023 to the 15th SIRM – European Conference on Rotordynamics (original in German: Schwingungen in rotierenden Maschinen) in Darmstadt.
16th SIRM 2027
We would like to inform, that the originally planned SIRM 2025 Conference will not take place. The reason for this is the unfavorable circumstance with an unexpected overlap of the initially planned SIRM conference in 2025 with the VIRM (IMechE) in UK moved to 2025. In the meeting of the SIRM Scientific Board on November 20th, 2024 we came to the conclusion, to stop all preparations for the SIRM 2025 in Milano. Instead, we decided to continue with the next SIRM conference in February 2027 with continuation every two years. This decision was especially made to come back to an optimal timing of the three conferences IFToMM, VIRM and SIRM, which worked very well in the previous years.
SIRM Scientific Board

The purpose of the 15th international Conference SIRM 2023 is to promote vital discussions between machine manufacturers, machine operators, and scientific representatives in the field of rotor dynamics. Latest trends in theoretical research, development, design, manufacturing, monitoring and machine maintenance shall be discussed at the conference. The Institute of Mechatronic Systems in Mechanical Engineering of the Technical University of Darmstadt invites you to attend SIRM 2023, to be held in Darmstadt, in order to combine science, engineering technology, and culture with an enjoyable get‐together for some days. The common organising committee cordially welcomes you in Darmstadt and looks forward seeing you at the conference.
