In this thesis, thermodynamic models are developed to evaluate and optimize alternative heat integration concepts for iron-based hydrogen storage. The focus is on efficient recovery and integration of process heat to generate both energy and cost advantages. Finally, promising concepts are sized and economically assessed, leading to concrete recommendations.
