Entwicklung einer segmentweisen Regelung der Niederhalterkraft im Tiefziehen von Papier
Development of segment-by-segment control of the blank holder force in paper deep drawing
Masterthesis
Paper-based packaging, such as that produced by deep drawing, enables a reduction in the use of plastic-based packaging. Due to the low flow behavior and pronounced anisotropy, error patterns arise that can be observed in real time during the process using an innovative transparent tool. Initial preliminary tests have shown that an additional segmented blank holder has a major influence on the process and the defect patterns. The aim of this thesis is to link both elements and develop a control system for the flange feed for the existing tool concept. The following work packages need to be completed, which are best discussed in person and adjusted if necessary:
- Identification of suitable control concepts for single-variable and multi-variable control based on field-related data
- Numerically supported design of the controller
- Implementation of the controller in the test facility and verification of functionality
- Evaluation of the process improvement achieved through the controlled segmented blank holder
