This Website lists all important documents and forms for students as well as researchers and teaching staff specific to the Mechanical Engineering Department.

Bachelor's programme: Mechanical Engineering

The following section contains all documents and forms that are important for students of the bachelor's degree programmes “Mechanical Engineering – Sustainable Engineering” (from winter semester 21/22) and “Mechanical Engineering – Mechanical and Process Engineering”. Students who are still studying according to older regulations can find the relevant information in the section “Archive: Outdated study regulations”. Please note that most of the documents for these German degree programmes are only available in German.

Bachelor's programme Bio-Materials Engineering

The following section contains all documents and forms that are important for students of the bachelor's degree programmes “Bio-Materials Engineering” (from winter semester 23/24). Please note that most of the documents for these German degree programmes are only available in German.

Bachelor of Education: Metal Technology

The following section contains all documents and forms that are important for students of the bachelor's degree programme Metal Technology (B.Ed.). The programme is coordinated by the Centre for Teacher Education (ZfL). You can find additional contact details and learn more about the study programme here .

Master's programme: Mechanical Engineering

The following section contains all documents and forms that are important for students of the master's degree programmes “Maschinenbau (2021)” and “Maschinenbau – Mechanical and Process Engineering (2014)” (the previous Master's programme). Students who are still studying according to previous regulations can find the relevant information in the section “Archive: Outdated study regulations”. Please note, that most of the documents are available in German only, since these are German degree programmes.

Master's programme: Aerospace Engineering

The following section contains all documents and forms that are important for students of the master's programme Paper Science and Technology. The current regulations of the programme date from 2014, with the changes in Attachment I (study and examination plan), valid as of winter semester 21/22. Students who are still studying according to a previous regulation will find the relevant information in the following section.

General examination regulations of the TU Darmstadt

In addition to the rules and regulations of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, the General Examination Regulations of the TU Darmstadt apply. You can find information about this on the pages of the Department II. There you will find a German and an English version. Please note that the English translation is for information purposes only. The legally binding document is the German version.
