TU Darmstadt thrives on scientific excellence and a distinct spirit of innovation—both of which are reflected in the many ideas emerging from research, teaching, interdisciplinary collaboration, as well as professional activities.

The competition’s aim is to identify promising ideas at an early stage, considering their scientific relevance and innovation potential with a jury of experts from academia and industry, and assist initial steps toward commercialization, spin-offs, or collaborations. Needless to say that all submissions will be treated confidentially.

 Who can participate?

All scientists, students, employees and graduates of the TU Darmstadt.

The competition welcomes both research-based concepts with real-world application potential and innovative ideas with strong prospects for transfer to the real world—regardless of their stage of development.
