Bilateraler Austausch mit dem Kompetenzzentrum Ilmenau

The competence centres Darmstadt and Ilmenau have met within the scope of a bilateral exchange. The focus of the discussions was on the respective topics and the mutual exchange of experience. In particular, the topics of 3D scanning processes and additive manufacturing processes were discussed in depth. Following the successful discussions, the extensive 3D Druck model factory of the Ilmenau Competence Center was presented and the current research results examined. Joint workshops in the field of additive manufacturing are planned for further cooperation, as well as the expansion of the technology by the field of artificial intelligence. The experts of the Competence Center Darmstadt in the field of Artificial Intelligence, the so-called AI trainers, are already pursuing initial approaches in the field of additive manufacturing.
