DiK awarded for best paper at the IEEE EDUCON Conference

The DiK showed a strong presence at the internationally renowned IEEE EDUCON Conference. At the conference, which was dedicated to scientific exchange in the field of engineering education, Tim Giese, Martin Wende and Serdar Bulut presented their work on future teaching in engineering education. They published their work on the introduction of data literacy in teaching, the implementation of a Python course based on active learning, and the development of a design framework that uses gamification and motivation theory to teach engineering in a variety of ways.

The contributions were received with great interest and the paper on “Introduction of Data Literacy in the Undergraduate Engineering Curriculum” was awarded a Best Paper Award.
