In the face of the climate challenges of our time, the issue of sustainability plays a critical role. At the cutting edge of technological innovation and with a view to a greener future, the PLCM is researching how product development can be made more sustainable. The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into computer-aided design (CAD) processes plays a key role in this.

As a research assistant (HiWi), you will play a crucial role in our project to combine sustainability and CAD systems. You will work at the forefront of research to develop methods and techniques that redefine sustainability-driven design.

Responsibilities:

  • Integrating AI with CAD: Discover how artificial intelligence can revolutionize design processes and build in sustainability from the ground up.
  • ustainability through CAD: Investigate how current CAD systems promote environmentally friendly designs and what improvements are possible.
  • Designing for sustainability: Develop guidelines and best practices that lay the foundation for a greener future in product development.
