Georg Staudter studied Mechanical and Process Engineering at Technische Universität Darmstadt until January 2016 and achieved the Master of Science degree. During his master's degree he also studied at Thammasat University Bangkok. His master's thesis dealt with the conceptual design of a method to detect the influence of part orientation on the tensile strength of additive manufactured components.

In March 2016 Mr. Staudter joined the Department of Computer Integrated Design (DiK) as a research assistant and doctoral candidate.

Since March 2016 Mr. Staudter works at the departments training center Informationsverarbeitung im Maschinenbau (IiM) as a team member of the 3D-CAD training group. As such he manages the course Computer Aided Design, which is part of the curriculum of the Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Process Engineering. In this course first year students are taught the use of the 3D-CAD-system Siemens NX as well as the PDM-system Teamcenter.
