Einfluss geometrischer Abweichungen auf die strukturelle Steifigkeit und Spannungsverteilung in der Toleranzanalyse
Impact of Geometrical Deviations on Structural Stiffness and Stress Distribution in Tolerance Analysis
Masterthesis
Motivation – The smallest geometric deviations in structural components can drastically impact on the mechanical performance. Understanding these effects is crucial for optimizing tolerance limits and ensuring the reliability of mechanical assemblies. These deviations can significantly influence the mechanical behavior of critical components, which affecting on the performance. The challenge lies in determining whether these small deviations have a measurable impact on stress distribution and stiffness, potentially compromising the reliability of mechanical systems.
This Master’s thesis focuses on analyzing the influence of small geometrical random deviations on stress distribution and stiffness in structural components using Finite Element Method (FEM) simulations. The goal is to determine how random deviations impact stress patterns and whether they cause a significant reduction in structural stiffness under various loading conditions.
