Masterthesis gesucht: Entwicklung und Validierung einer Methode zur Identifikation der Adhäsionsbindung von strukturellen Klebverbindungen
Masterthesis
Adhesive bonds have great potential for joining modern materials due to their many positive properties. During the joining process, however, it can happen that the adhesive does not adhere to the parts to be joined. This is known as adhesion failure and significantly reduces confidence in adhesive bonding technology. This is exactly where your Master's thesis comes in:
If the adhesive bond is faulty, no forces are transferred in the adhesive. As a result, no energy is dissipated when the adhesive vibrates. Your task is to analyse the vibration and acoustic properties of samples with varying degrees of defective adhesive bonding and to develop a measuring method that can detect adhesive failure non-destructively.
Your tasks:
- Carrying out experimental vibration analyses
- Modelling of vibration behaviour in the absence of adhesion (AI model possible)
- Documentation of your results
What you bring with you
- Initiative, independence and the ability to work in a team describe you very well.
What we offer you:
- Publication of the results of your work in the form of a journal paper
