The basic lecture “numerical methods” is a required course for bachelor degree students in Maschinenbau – Mechanical and Process Engineering. The additional lectures “applied structural optimization”, “finite element analysis in structural mechanics”, “computational fluid dynamics” and “advanced methods in computational fluid dynamics” are continuative lectures which further the students knowledge in the special field of application.
