It was a pleasure to have Mathis Bode with us for two days at STFS. Mathis gave an inspiring talk and shared some insights into the developments at Forschungszentrum Jülich, where the first European Exascale Machine will be installed in 2024.

Our collaboration with Mathis has intensified in the CoEC and will continue in the future in a new EuroHPC Joint Undertaking project. We are very excited about the possibility of early access to the Exascale machine. This can be a game changer for combustion simulations of renewable fuels (green combustion).
