A short but powerful update: A major milestone for European supercomputing!

During the 40th ISC High Performance 2025 (https://isc-hpc.com), Europe’s first Exascale system – JUPITER – has officially gone online. And we’re proud to be part of it!

The screenshot shows the late-night login by Hendrik Nicolai – marking the start of an exciting new chapter for our team.

Our group, Simulation of reactive Thermo-Fluid Systems (STFS), TU Darmstadt, has been selected in the GCS Exascale Pioneer Call with the project HyCoMES: Data-Driven Hydrogen Combustion Modeling using Exascale Simulations.

Our goal: advancing the use of hydrogen in future gas turbines and aircraft propulsion systems – powered by physics-informed, data-driven modeling at the Exascale.
