The degree programme ”Maschinenbau (Mechanical Engineering)” explores classical mechanical engineering and the numerous facets that this subject area offers. Here you can choose to study a very broad range of subjects or deepen your knowledge in a specialist area, such as Clean Energy Engineering, Sustainable Use and Reuse of Resources, Future Automotive + Aerospace Systems, Digital Based Production and Robotics, or Bio Medical Engineering. The specialisation Aerospace Engineering is offered as an independent Master's programme that is taught in English.

Is not possible to enroll to a new enrolment for the study program “Paper Science and Technology” anymore. A revised offer will start inwinter semester 26/27, as part of the Master's program Bio-Materials Engineering (program language English).

Mechanical engineering also is part of various interdisciplinary degree programmes .
