After a long break from Corona, face-to-face events are slowly finding their way back into professional life at DiK. One of these face-to-face events in July was the Advanced Systems Engineering Summit 2022 (ASE Summit 2022 for short).

The international conference AHFE 2022 took place in New York from 24 to 28 July 2022. The conference offered interesting stimuli and opportunities for scientific exchange with colleagues from research and industry from all over the world.

On September 01, 2021, the new project “Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum Darmstadt” started at the DiK. The project, which is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi), aims to build on the successes of the predecessor project “Mittelstand 4.0-Kompetenzzentrum Darmstadt”.
