Elysium is a provider of innovative interoperability solutions to support digital design and manufacturing.
Well-established in virtual product development, Elysium software covers the fields of CAD, CAM, FEM, Reverse Engineering, Rapid Prototyping, data translation and 3D processing features. The Elysium product portfolio enables the handling of 3D product information from cradle to grave. The operationalization of 3D product information for all product life cycle phases is still a major topic within interoperability solutions and serves as key enabler for Industrie 4.0.
Within the study “Interoperability in Industrie 4.0” Elysium and the Department of Computer Integrated Design (DiK) at Technische Universität Darmstadt partner to analyze the application of Elysium software in the context of Industrie 4.0. Main objective is the development of new computer-aided methods and tools to support Industrie 4.0 technologies, like cyber-physical systems (CPS) and internet technologies. Therefore, Elysium software will be evaluated with respect to its deployment in Indsutrie 4.0 interoperability solutions and in future engineering education.
