The company Leser GmbH & Co. KG is listed as one of the global leading producers of quality safety valves. By reason of the strong customer focus a large variety exists. In order to alleviate the generation of variety, the product modelling is supported by the 3D-CAD-system Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire3.
Within this project modelling strategies for a safety valve are developed. These modelling strategies should support the construction by applying parametric and KBE (Knowledge Based Engineering) for the generation of product varieties in order to realise a high automation level.
